Mini-Intensive

2-4 Hours in One Day

Mini-Intensives are designed for those ready to move forward in a big way. Whether you're working toward a long-term goal or seeking faster relief, this focused format helps you achieve more in a single session than equivalent hours of traditional therapy.

We offer Mini-Intensives using powerful, evidence-based approaches like Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and EMDR, tailored for children, teens, and adults. It’s a transformative experience—efficient, focused, and deeply effective.

Full

Intensive

Multi-Hour, Multi-Day Sessions

Full Intensives offer up to 24 hours of therapy in one focused week—providing a safe, structured, and powerful space to work through and release painful past experiences.

Together, we’ll clarify your (or your child’s) goals, strengthen coping tools, and gently process the root of current symptoms. For those seeking trauma treatment, Full Intensives are often the most effective option. Many clients experience a significant reduction—or even complete resolution—of trauma-related symptoms in just one week.

Full Intensives are available for children, adolescents, and adults.

If you're ready for real transformation, this is a life-changing place to start.

Insurance and Payment

At this time, therapy intensives are not typically covered by insurance. If we are in-network with your insurance provider, we will bill insurance for any eligible portions. The remaining balance will be your responsibility.

We understand that intensives are a meaningful financial investment in your well-being—and we strive to make that easier.

We offer interest-free payment plans for up to 6 months to help you manage the cost in a way that works for you.

If you have questions about coverage or payment options, we’re happy to help.

Mini-Intensives and Full Intensive Rates:

$175/hour (weekdays)

$200/hour (weekends)

Wondering if an Intensive is right for you?

It’s completely normal to have questions—we are available to help you explore your needs. Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common ones we hear.

If you’re curious or think this might be a good fit, schedule a free consultation call. We’ll talk through your needs and help you decide if an Intensive is the right next step.

Who is a good fit for an Intensive?

Our intensives are a great fit for individuals who have some awareness of how past experiences may be affecting their current thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. For children and teens, this insight often comes from caregivers—and that’s completely okay.

We commonly work with challenges such as:

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Attachment difficulties

  • Anxiety and phobias

  • OCD

  • Depression

  • Dissociation

Please note: Full Intensives may not be appropriate for all types of dissociation, but Mini-Intensives can sometimes be a better fit in those cases. We’re happy to help determine the best approach during your consultation.

Can children really do that much therapy at one time?

Our intensives for children and adolescents are designed to be engaging, playful, and developmentally appropriate. We incorporate creative and body-based approaches like play therapy, sensorimotor therapy, art therapy, and sandtray to help young clients process at their own pace.

Sessions include frequent breaks for snacks, movement, or rest, and we tailor each day’s length and structure to meet your child’s unique needs. The goal is to create a safe, supportive space where healing feels natural and doable.

Do I need to have a regular therapist as well?

We often recommend that Intensive clients also work with a therapist on a regular basis. This provides valuable ongoing support and helps with integrating the progress made during your Intensive.

With your permission, we’re happy to collaborate with your current provider to ensure we’re aligned on your treatment goals and can share updates about the progress you make. Working as a team helps create lasting change.

What do we focus on in an Intensive?

Intensives are designed to help you make meaningful progress—quickly and effectively. We start by identifying the biggest challenges in your life and setting clear, achievable goals based on what matters most to you.

Whether you're doing a Full Intensive or a series of Mini-Intensives, we tailor the work to help you reach those goals. Using ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) or EMDR, we address the root causes of current struggles by reprocessing difficult past experiences, building insight, and deepening your understanding of yourself.

What is the process for an Intensive?

We begin with a free consultation call to learn more about your needs, answer any questions, and help determine if an Intensive is the right fit.

For adults, the next step is a 1-hour intake session, followed by scheduling your Intensive.

For children, we start with two separate 1-hour intake sessions—one with parents or caregivers, and one with the child. Families also receive a "What to Expect" guide before the Intensive, which includes treatment goals, a daily schedule, what to bring, and other helpful details.

After your Full Intensive, we provide ongoing support:

  • A check-in call two weeks after a Full Intensive

  • An optional 1-hour follow-up session at that time

  • A second progress check-in at the 3-month mark

We’re here to support your progress every step of the way.

How are parents involved with Intensives for a child or adolescent?

We understand that every situation is unique, so parent involvement in Intensives is determined on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the goals, it can be incredibly helpful to include parents in the process.

For children and adolescents, we often set aside time for parent support or coaching during the Intensive, ensuring you're equipped to support your child's progress at home.

We’ll work with you to determine the best approach for your family.
